Infuse sacred Indian folk art, architectural character, and artisan heritage into your home with this handcrafted wooden Jharokha window mirror frame. Inspired by traditional Rajasthani palace casement windows, this functional wall-hanging decor panel features a distinct black-and-white checkered side border, festive red-and-yellow top and bottom cornices, and dual shutter doors hand-painted with sacred Pichwai holy cows (Kamdhenu / Gau Mata) and blossoming pink lotuses on a rich chocolate-brown background.
Individually sculpted and constructed by master artisans from seasoned solid wood, this decorative window frame features two hinged opening doors that swing open to reveal a clear, distortion-free reflective glass mirror inside. Keep the shutters closed to showcase an intricate piece of Indian folk art, or display them fully open to reflect light and expand your room.
Every single detail—from the ornate ornaments, bells, and headgear of the sacred cows to the graceful pink lotus flowers and yellow floral corner arches—is painted entirely by hand using fine artisan brushwork. Drawing from sacred Nathdwara Pichwai art traditions, this piece symbolizes divine blessing, maternal grace, purity, and spiritual serenity.
With its striking folk-art color scheme, contrasting checkered frame, and interactive open-and-close design, this wooden Jharokha window mirror creates an instant visual anchor. It pairs seamlessly with traditional Indian, bohemian, and eclectic interiors, and includes heavy-duty rear mounting hardware for secure wall installation.

The design is visually defined by hand-carved detailing, Pichwai-inspired artwork. The proportions, arch or panel silhouette, surface pattern, and finish are presented in the supplied product photograph, so the listing avoids unsupported claims about measurements or construction methods. Each visible mark and finish variation contributes to the handmade character associated with Jodhpur, Rajasthan craft traditions.
Use this decorative window mirror in living rooms, bedrooms, entryways, reading corners, and Indian heritage-inspired interiors. It can be paired with neutral walls, natural textures, Indian textiles, brass accents, ceramic accessories, or contemporary furniture to create a balanced heritage-modern setting. The natural wood finish can also become a visual bridge between traditional Rajasthani decor and more relaxed boho, eclectic, rustic, or contemporary interiors.
Keep the surface away from prolonged moisture, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and direct outdoor exposure unless the product is specifically rated for those conditions. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. For mirrors, clean the glass carefully without soaking the wooden frame; for painted or carved panels, avoid aggressive rubbing that could affect the decorative finish.
Because artisan-made wood products can show natural grain, small tonal differences, paint variation, or minor surface irregularities, the item you receive may not look mechanically identical to the photograph. These variations are part of the visual character of handcrafted Indian decor and do not by themselves indicate a defect.
